Head to Head

Azerbaijan and Ireland drew 1-1 in their only previous meeting.

Azerbaijan Form

Azerbaijan’s winless run in World Cup qualifiers extended to seven following a 3-0 loss to Portugal last time out.

Gianni De Biasi’s side have struggled to compete on the international stage. A 2-1 win against Belarus and the 1-1 draw with Ireland are the only matches in the last nine where Azerbaijan avoided defeat.
