Czech Republic vs Wales Predictions

Czech Republic and Wales will want to avoid defeat in the race for the final qualification place in Group D. Both sides are in patchy form and I am backing a draw.

Head-to-Head

Czech Republic and Wales have won one match each and drawn two in four meetings.

Czech Republic Form

The Czech Republic are in inconsistent form after a 3-0 defeat to Belgium in Group D in September. They then drew 1-1 at home against Ukraine in a friendly.

Jaroslav Silhavy’s side are winless in three of their last four qualifiers. A 1-1 draw against Belgium and a 1-0 home win against Belarus have returned four points from their last 12 available.

Verdict

Czech Republic and Wales have struggled for wins and a loss in Prague could damage both sides qualification hopes. I am tipping a 1-1 draw in Prague.
