England vs San Marino Predictions

The handicap has been set at -7 for England to cover, but they have only managed that once previously against San Marino in an 8-0 victory.

San Marino have only been beaten by more than seven goals in three of their last 27 matches, making that an attractive price.

  • England have covered the -7 handicap in 1 of their 6 matches against San Marino (all competitions).
  • San Marino have covered the +7 goal handicap in 24 of their last 27 matches (all competitions).

The most recent was a routine 6-0 win in 2015 in a European Championship qualifier.

England Form

England were 4-0 winners over Iceland when last in action in November in the UEFA Nations League.

Gareth Southgate's side were already guaranteed to miss out on qualification for the playoffs, but it was a comprehensive victory thanks to Declan Rice, Mason Mount and two Phil Foden goals.

Back-to-back defeats in Group I had sealed England's fate.

They lost 1-0 at home to eventual group runners-up Denmark were beaten 2-0 in Belgium as the Red Devils topped the group.
