Head to Head

France hold a 4-1 head to head record with three draws. The last meeting was a 1-0 France win in a friendly in 2011.

France Form

France went undefeated in the World Cup qualifiers, registering five wins and three draws to comfortably top Group D.

Didier Deschamps’ side won one of their six matches in the Nations League where they narrowly avoided relegation.

Les Bleus started their World Cup campaign with a 4-1 win against Australia after being 1-0 down in the 9th minute, Adrien Rabiot, Olivier Giroud (2) and Kylian Mbappé scoring to overturn the deficit.

France made it back to back wins with a 2-1 victory against Denmark, having 7-2 shots on target with Mbappé scoring both goals including the winner in the 86th minute.

Having made a number of change, France suffered a surprise 1-0 defeat to Tunisia in the last game but still topped the group.
