The victories followed a 2-0 defeat at the hands of leaders Denmark, and moved Scotland back above Israel in the standings.

Grant Hanley is ruled out for Scotland after picking up his second yellow card of the campaign in the win over Austria.

The returning Scott McTominay is an option to plug the gap in defence. Callum McGregor and Stuart Armstrong are also back in the squad after injuries.

Scotland are without injured duo defender Greg Taylor and midfielder James Forrest, while goalkeeper Zander Clark and defender Declan Gallagher drop out of the squad.

Israel Form

Israel suffered a a heavy 5-0 defeat away to Denmark when last in action last month.

Willibald Ruttensteiner's start the group with a 2-0 loss to the Danes and a 1-1 draw with Scotland.

But they recorded three straight wins with a 4-1 victory over Moldova, 4-0 success away to Faroe Islands and a 5-2 win at home to Austria.

Israel are without defender Hatem Abd Elhamed through suspension following his late yellow card against Denmark.

Problems are mounting with goalkeeper Ariel Harush, defenders Eitan Tibi, Orel Dgani and Taleb Tawatha and midfielders Eyal Golasa, Omer Atzili and Mohammad Abu Fani all out injured.

Defender Idan Nachmias has been controversially called up despite being injured.
