  • Togo have conceded 6 goals in 6 home games in all competitions.

Head to Head

Togo and Senegal have recorded one victory each, including two draws in four meetings in World Cup qualifiers.

Togo Form

Togo drew 1-1 against Sudan away from home last week, ending their three-match winning streak.

Both goals came in the first half, with Sudan taking the lead from a spot kick after 17 minutes of play before Togo levelled matters two minutes before the halftime break.

Togo had nine shots in the match, with five attempts on target.

Togo have secured three wins in their last six games, including one loss and two draws. They have found the back of the net nine times and conceded five goals at the back.

The Sparrowhawks have been in solid form at home, registering three victories in their last six matches, including three daws. They have scored ten goals and conceded six.

Togo have been playing well and have not lost at home in nine fixtures, but it will be tough going against a Senegal side that was in great touch against Sudan.

Head coach Paulo Duarte has made two changes to his squad after his side drew 1-1 against Sudan. Sadiq Fofana comes in for Philip Awuku, and Ayayi Zonor replaces Roland Amouzou.

Senegal Form

Senegal cruised to an easy 4-0 home victory over South Sudan in their opening FIFA World Cup qualifier on the weekend.

Senegal had the perfect start against South Sudan, taking the lead in the first minute of the match before doubling their tally five minutes later and grabbing their third goal on the stroke of halftime.

The home side secured their fourth goal via a penalty kick after 56 minutes of play to wrap up proceedings.

Senegal had 59% possession and 25 shots in the match, with ten attempts on target.

The Lions of Teranga have recorded three victories in their last six fixtures, including one loss and two draws. They have scored 11 goals and conceded five.

Senegal have been in excellent form on their travels, winning four of their last six matches, including one defeat and one draw. They have netted seven goals and conceded six.

Senegal dominated proceedings during their previous match and will be out to reproduce a similar display against Togo; however, their opponents won't be a walk in the park.

Senegal Team & Injuries

Head coach Aliou Cisse will likely field the same starting XI that beat South Sudan.

Sadio Made scored a brace against South Sudan in his 100th appearance for his country.

Goalkeepers: Edouard Mendy, Seny Dieng, Mory Diaw
Defenders: Kalidou Koulibaly, Adbou Diallo, Moussa Niakhate, Fode Ballo Toure, Abdoulaye Seck, Ismail Jakobs, Noah Fadiga, Abdoulaye N. Ndiaye, Formose Mendy

Senegal were in great touch in their previous fixture and is tipped to come out on top in a competitive clash against Togo, with a win-to-nil performance and a 2-0 score at the final whistle.
