HTH

Bayern Munich have a 12-3 advantage against Leipzig with 6 draws in 21 matches.

They last met in December at Allianz Arena, the game being won by Bayern Munich 5-1.

Leipzig Form

This upcoming clash has huge importance for Leipzig who are battling for a spot in the UCL, currently sitting in 5th place with a two-point deficit from 4th Freiburg.

The Red Bulls had a strong start in April under the new manager Zsolt Low, earning back to back victories against Hoffenheim 3-1 and Wolfsburg 3-2, while getting just a point against relegation candidates Holstein Kiel 1-1.

Their unbeaten run has ended last weekend with a convincing 4-0 loss at Eintracht Frankfurt where El Chadaille Bitshiabu was sent off in the 50th minute.

Bayern Munich Form

Bayern Munich need just one more victory in the remaining three rounds to claim another Bundesliga title, currently leading with an eight-point advantage over Leverkusen.

The Bavarians slipped in mid-April, their home match against Dortmund ending in a 2-2 draw but then earned two convincing victories against Heidenheim 4-0 and Mainz 3-0.

They had a disappointing exit from the Champions League last month too. After losing the first tie at home to Inter Milan 2-1, they were held to a 2-2 draw in Italy and failed to qualify for semifinals.

Team News

RB Leipzig will be without El Chadaille Bitshiabu due to suspension, while Benjamin Henrichs, Willi Orban and Peter Gulacsi are all sidelined through injury. Xaver Schlager is also unavailable with a hamstring problem.

Bayern Munich are missing several key players, including suspended striker Harry Kane and injured attacking midfielder Jamal Musiala. Defenders Alphonso Davies, Dayot Upamecano, Hiroki Ito and Kim Min-Jae are all ruled out, adding to the club's ongoing fitness concerns.

Predicted Starting Lineups

Leipzig: Vandevoordt, Klostermann, Nedeljkovic, Lukeba, Raum, Seiwald, Haidara, Baku, Simons, Sesko, Openda

Bayern Munich: Neuer, Laimer, Dier, Stanisic, Guerreiro, Kimmich, Pavlovic, Gnabry, Olise, Sane, Muller
