Bengaluru vs Kerala Blasters Predictions

Goals are expected in Saturday's ISL clash in Bangalore.

While I can't pick a winner, I expect BTTS in what should prove a competitive contest at the Sree Kanteerava Stadium.

Bengaluru and Kerala Blasters will meet for the 16th time this weekend. The Blues lead the H2H record with eight wins to the Blasters four. Kerala claimed the spoils in their most recent contest with a 2-1 win in Kochi earlier this season.

Bengaluru claimed a much-needed victory with a hard-fought 2-1 success against bottom-of-the-table Hyderabad last weekend. Sivasakthi Narayanan's 87th-minute goal secured the points and only a second win in nine matches for the Blues.

With only three games remaining in the regular season, Gerard Zaragoza's side are up to ninth in the division, two points outside of the Championship playoff positions.

The Blues have been in decent form in Kochi, with only one defeat in their last 15 ISL matches played over the past year.

Gerard Zaragoza is likely to make at least one change to the Bengaluru XI on Saturday. Sivasakthi Narayanan should come back into the selection after his match-winning strike against Hyderabad.

Salam Johnson Singh remains sidelined with a long-term knee injury.

Kerala Blasters Form

Kerala Blasters broke their five-game losing run with a remarkable comeback victory against Goa last weekend. Trailing by two goals at the interval, Ivan Vukomanović's side showed terrific resilience to eventually emerge with a vital 4-2 victory.

On their travels, the Tuskers have struggled for consistency this season. Kerala have won three but lost four of seven ISL road games.

Despite their recent losing run, Vukomanović's side are only six points behind league leaders Odisha and having played one game fewer.

Kerala boss Vukomanovic has no new injury issues to deal with ahead of Saturday's trip to Bangalore. However, Jaushua Sotirio, Freddy Lallawmawma, Aibanbha Dohling, Adrián Luna, and Sachin Suresh continue to remain sidelined for the visitors.

This is a tricky game to call with both teams struggling for form, but we can expect a competitive contest with chances at both ends.
