Jamshedpur vs Kerala Blasters Predictions

Jamshedpur have never lost to Kerala Blasters in the Indian Super League. With two wins in their last three games, Owen Coyle's side are in much better form than Kerala and tipped to win.

  • Jamshedpur have won 2 of their last 3 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Jamshedpur have lost 1 of their last 8 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Jamshedpur have never lost to Kerala Blasters in 6 previous matches (Indian Super League).
  • Kerala Blasters have lost their last 2 matches (Indian Super League).
  • Kerala Blasters have conceded most goals this season with 17 shipped in 9 matches (Indian Super League).

Head to Head

Kerala Blasters have never beaten Jamshedpur in six previous attempts. Four have ended in draws while Jamshedpur have won twice.

Last season, a 2-2 draw was followed by a 3-2 victory for Jamshedpur in two high-scoring matches.

Jamshedpur Form

Jamshedpur can move back into the top four in the Indian Super League if securing a third win in their last four games.

Owen Coyle's side were 1-0 winners over Bengaluru when last in action almost two weeks ago. Stephen Eze's 79th minute goal proved to be the difference between the sides.

Jamshedpur have also recorded a 1-0 win against NorthEast United in their last three games, and suffered a controversial 2-1 defeat to Goa.

Leading through another Eze goal, Jamshedpur thought they had made it 2-0 through Alex. His shot crossed the line but wasn't given, with Goa then scoring twice in the last three minutes to win the game.

That was a first defeat since Jamshedpur lost their opening game of season the season 2-1 to Chennaiyin. They have also drawn four of their nine games.

Jamshedpur Team News

The near two-week break means injured overseas forwards David Grande and Nick Fitzgerald are available once again. Key defender Stephen Eze is also fit after picking up a knock.

Jamshedpur are also boosted by the return of defender Narender Gahlot, but defender Laldinliana Renthlei is a doubt.

Kerala Blasters Form

Kerala Blasters have slipped to second from bottom after back-to-back defeats to Mumbai City and Odisha. They now sit just a point above Odisha heading into Sunday's ISL games.

Kibu Vicuna's side were beaten 2-0 by leaders Mumbai City after conceding twice inside the first 11 minutes. They then became the first side to lose to Odisha this season.

Kerala took a seventh minute lead against Odisha, only two concede four times before Gary Hooper grabbed a late consolation in a 4-2 defeat.

The Blasters have won once in nine games this season, that coming courtesy of a 2-0 victory over Hyderabad. They have lost five times and have the worst defence with 17 goals conceded in nine games.

Kerala Blasters Team News

New signing Juande will bolster the Kerala Blasters midfield when he makes his debut having been signed to replace fellow Spaniard Sergio Cidoncha.

Gary Hooper scored as a second-half substitute against Odisha and is pushing for a recall.
