The Kings World Cup Nations 2025 takes place in Italy from January 1-12 with some of football's best known names playing in the unique seven-a-side tournament.

An expansion of the Kings League first formed by Gerard Pique, the Kings World Cup Nations sees 16 national teams clash in Milan between January 1-10 and Turin for the final on January 12.

Sergio Aguero is one of the biggest names representing their countries in the fast-paced seven-a-side tournament.

Teams & Format

The 16 nations competing in the KWC Nations 2025 are Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, Germany, Italy, Japan, South Korea, Mexico, Morocco, Peru, Saudi Arabia, Spain, Turkey, Ukraine, United States and Uzbekistan.

The 16 teams are drawn in first round matches with all progressing to the second round, where the eight winners meet and the eight losers from Round 1 go head to head to stay in the competition.

The victors of the winner vs winner head to heads progress to the quarter-finals, while the losing side drops into the Last Chance (Round 3). In those games, they face the winning side from the loser vs loser second round matches.

From there, we are left with eight remaining teams and straight knockout football in the quarter-finals, semi-finals and final.

Teams compete in a unique seven-a-side format with games taking place over 40 minutes.

The rules include unlimited substitutions, sin bins instead of red cards and a bonus card system.
