Urawa Reds return to Saitama after a hugely frustrating 2-1 defeat at Nagoya Grampus on Saturday. Despite taking a second-half lead, two goals conceded in the final ten minutes condemned Maciej Skorża's side to a third road defeat of the season.

While not at their best in recent weeks (Urawa failed to win four of their last five matches), the Reds remain a force at Saitama Stadium 2002. Skorża's side picked up 21 points from a possible 24 in home fixtures since the start of March.

Defensive vulnerabilities have been evident in recent outings, though, with only two clean sheets kept in their last nine J1 League contests.

Head coach Skorża is likely to freshen up his selection this week. Ryoma Watanabe is poised to earn a recall to the first XI after a goalscoring substitute appearance against Nagoya Grampus.

Cerezo Osaka make the trip to Saitama in high spirits after back-to-back victories claimed in the past week. After an impressive 4-1 away win at Kyoto Sanga in the J-League Cup last Wednesday, the Cherry Blossoms claimed a hard-fought 2-0 success against Avispa Fukuoka three days later.

Arthur Papas's side have enjoyed an excellent run of results in May, scoring five victories while losing just one of six games played.

Less convincing in their away performances, Cerezo lost five while winning just two of their eight previous J1 League road fixtures.
