Mexico made a great start to the tournament with Obed Martinez scoring in the first minute against United States.
However, that fast start in Round 1 couldn't be sustained as Mexico lost 4-2 to their neighbours.
Mexico have made amends since, including with an 8-4 victory over Saudi Arabia in an entertaining Round 2 contest and a 6-3 success over Germany in the last chance round.
In Thursday's quarter-final, Mexico were held to a 2-2 draw by Argentina before edging a tight penalty shoot-out 4-3 to move into the last four of the tournament.
Brazil Form
Brazil haven't had to get out of second gear to reach the semi-finals of the 2025 Kings World Cup Nations.
The Samba boys turned on the entertainment in their opening game with a 7-4 victory over Korea Republic with Kelvin Oliveira getting two double goals.
In Round 2, Oliveira scored four again - one of which was a double goal - as Brazil thrashed Germany 9-2 in dominant performance.
It was even more one-sided in the quarter-finals as Brazil put Turkey to the sword in a 12-4 victory. Oliveira was the hero again, netting six times including one double goal.
Verdict
Brazil are looking unstoppable and, with 28 goals in three games, they should brush aside even this talented Mexico team.
