Goals have also been a problem for the visitors with top scorer Stephane Bahoken netting just once in his last seven matches. The striker is still expected to start on Wednesday with the likes of Flavien Tait and Jeff Reine-Adelaide providing support.

Matches between Nimes and Angers are usually closely fought affairs with the visitors earning 10 wins while the home team have been victorious nine times in 23 previous meetings. Nimes have come out on top in recent clashes with four wins and three defeats in the last seven fixtures.

The hosts have already beaten their rivals in the league this season as they claimed a 4-3 victory in the reverse fixture back in August.

Nimes have been poor in attack in recent weeks with the duo of Bozok and Alioul on lengthy goal droughts. Both men have failed to score in their last five matches and are likely to continue their struggles against Angers.

The visitors have also had similar attacking problems with striker Bahoken scoring just once in six matches. The 26 year old should find things difficult against the Nimes defence on Wednesday.
