The Canaries suffered back to back losses in early March to Marseille 2-0 and Strasbourg 1-0, but then beat favored Lille 1-0 in front of the home crowd, Mostafa Mohamed scoring late.

Antoine Kombouare’s side was beaten at Le Havre 3-2 to wrap up the previous month but then caused an upset on 4th April by defeating Nice 2-1 at Allianz Riviera, Douglas Augusto and Matthis Abline finding the net.
