City’s dip in form started in the middle of May when they settled for a 1-1 draw at home to Colorado.

That was followed up by a 3-0 defeat at New York Red Bulls in the US Open Cup, and a 2-1 loss at Philadelphia in the league.

City stopped the rot with a 4-4 draw at Cincinnati, but they will have been kicking themselves after coming back from 3-0 to lead 4-3 late on.

And just last week they again failed to hold on when in front, blowing a lead twice to draw 2-2 at home to Atlanta.

New England Revolution Form

New England are riding a 10-game unbeaten run in Major League Soccer, although they have won just four times.

The Revolution endured a miserable run of form in April, but went unbeaten in the league in May as they won twice and drew three times.

They downed Inter Miami 2-0 and Cincinnati 3-2, while drawing 2-2 with both Columbus and Atlanta, and 1-1 with Philadelphia.

New England started June with a 2-1 success at Sporting Kansas City, but again they failed to string together wins as they drew 1-1 at home to Orlando.

A 2-1 win against Minnesota followed, and the unbeaten run has since stretched to 10 games with a goalless stalemate at Vancouver and 2-2 draw at home to Cincinnati.
