Salt Lake have won just one of their last seven games in Major League Soccer.

This sequence started with a goalless draw at home to Columbus that was followed by a 3-2 defeat at Minnesota and 2-2 draw at home to Colorado.

They then lost 2-1 away to Atlanta before finally getting back to winning ways with a 3-0 success against Sporting Kansas City.

Los Angeles have won eight of their last 10 MLS games and are riding a four-game win streak.

LAFC won 2-0 at Columbus in late May to spark this good run, which continued with home wins over San Jose, New York Red Bulls and Dallas, as well as a draw at Seattle.

That five-game unbeaten run was halted by a surprise 1-0 defeat at Vancouver, but their response has been emphatic.

Los Angeles beat the Galaxy 3-2 in the derby before heading to Nashville for a 2-1 win.

They then won 2-0 away to Sporting Kansas City, before returning home to beat Seattle 2-1 last weekend.
