Arsene Wenger has overtaken Jose Mourinho to be the next permanent Bayern Munich manager at PaddyPower. Current Bayern boss Niko Kovac left his job on Sunday after a 5-1 defeat at Eintracht Frankgurt despite winning the Bundesliga and German Cup double last season.

Wenger has been out of work since he left Arsenal in June 2018. He has been constantly linked with a number of high profile clubs but taking over at the Allianz Arena could be a realistic option.

Next Permanent Bayern Munich Manager Betting Odds

Arsene Wenger is PaddyPower's favourite to be the next permanent Bayern Munich manager ahead of current FC Bayern caretaker manager Hansi Flick. Wenger was listed at 25/1 in October but has stormed into favouritism at 13/8.

Ajax manager Erik ten Hag is given a good chance followed by former Juventus boss Massimiliano Allegri and Jose Mourinho. Leipzig guru Ralf Rangnick is also in the discussion after doing great work at a number of Bundesliga clubs.
