Next Liverpool Manager Odds – Odds cut further on Ruben Amorim joining Liverpool

Bookmakers have cut the odds further on Ruben Amorim becoming the next Liverpool manager after Roberto De Zerbi was reportedly ruled out of the running.
The Reds have been on the hunt for a new boss since Jurgen Klopp announced that this will be his final season earlier in the campaign.
Bayer Leverkusen manager Xabi Alonso was immediately made the bookmakers' favourite, only for the former Liverpool player to commit his future to the Bundesliga side.
That left Sporting Lisbon boss Amorim and Brighton manager De Zerbi as the two front-runners for the job, but in recent days there has been movement in the market, resulting in the former becoming the odds-on favourite.
Amid reports De Zerbi is now out of the running, Ladbrokes has cut the odds on Amorim making the move to Anfield from 4/5 to 4/6.
De Zerbi is now out to 5/1 ahead of current Germany national team boss Julian Nagelsmann at 7/1.
“There really does seem to be a shortage of world class managers available at the moment, so Liverpool’s hunt for Klopp’s replacement is proving less than straightforward,” said a spokesperson for a leading bookmaker.
“Ruben Amorim heads the betting to be the next man in charge, and with rumours circulating that Roberto De Zerbi isn’t being considered by the hierarchy at Liverpool, the Sporting Lisbon boss has been cut to 4/6 to be in the Anfield dugout next season.”
