Unai Emery has seen his odds of being sacked as Arsenal manager slashed once again, 888sport listing the Spanish boss at 3/1 to be the next Premier League boss to leave his job. Emery has shortened from 33/1 to 3/1 and is now equal second with Everton’s Marco Silva in the sack race market behind Southampton’s Ralph Hasenhuttl (7/4).

Hasenhuttl’s Saints have put the record 9-0 home defeat against Leicester behind them but the Austrian manager is still in danger of losing his job. Tottenham's Mauricio Pochettino and Man United's Ole Gunnar Solskjaer are still in the discussion with West Ham's Manuel Pellegrini a big mover from 25/1 to 10/1 after some bad results.

Toxic atmosphere at the Emirates

Arsenal have drawn four straight matches after a 3-2 win against Vitoria Guimaraes in the UEFA Europa League. An exciting 5-5 draw at Liverpool in the League Cup saw the Gunners knocked out on penalties, a result that came in the middle of Premier League home draws against Crystal Palace and Wolves.

The atmosphere at the Emirates has not improved since of the final days of Arsene Wenger’s reign. Captain Granit Xhaka was booed off recently and the fans’ patience for Emery appears to be running out.

Emery started the season as a 50/1 shot to be removed first, he was 33/1 just over four weeks ago but has seen his price continue to plummet. Unai Emery's odds slashed in sack race with 3/1 on offer surely to tempt punters.
