Tromso vs Bodo/Glimt Preview

Tromso have lost their last two appearances at home to teams weaker than Bodo/Glimt. I am backing the reigning champions to win on Friday, while an away win & BTTS is a value bet.

HTH

Bodo/Glimt have a 23-22 advantage against Tromso with 13 draws in 58 matches.

They last met in October, the game ending in a goalless draw.

Tromso Form

Tromso earned just two victories in the opening six rounds of Eliteserien 2025 and currently sit in 10th place with seven points.

They kicked off the new campaign with a 1-0 win over Haugesund, but then lost two match in a row against Brann 3-1 and Kristiansund 3-2.

After wrapping up April with a 4-4 draw against Viking, Tromso were beaten in their May premiere at home by Sandefjord 1-0.

They finally ended the winless run last weekend with a 3-1 road win at KFUM, Vetle Skjaervik, Ieltsin Camoes and Kent Antonsen appearing on the scoresheet.

Bodo/Glimt Form

Bodo/Glimt’s fantastic run in the Europa League has ended last week after losing 2-0 at home to Tottenham Hotspur in the semifinal (5-1 on aggregate).

As for their Eliteserien campaign, the Yellow Horde had a strong start, winning 10 out of possible 12 points so far.

They were victorious in the opening two rounds against Bryne 1-0 and HamKam 3-0, while the derby match against Molde in the third match ended in a 2-2 draw.

Bodo/Glimt returned to winning ways in late April with a commanding 3-0 home win against KFUM, Kasper Hogh scoring a late brace, Ulrik Saltnes also on target.

Team News

Tromso have no reported injury or suspension issues ahead of this clash, with a full squad available for selection.

Bodo/Glimt, on the other hand, will be without Oskar Luraas Bjoertuft due to an unspecified issue, while Sondre Skundberg Skeide is sidelined with an ankle injury.

Tromso: Haugaard, Cornic, Skjaervik, Guddal, Kinteh, Kristiansen, Edvardsson, Jenssen, Hjerto-Dahl, Mikkelsen, Erlien
