Rangers vs Kilmarnock Predictions

Rangers have struggled to reach top form in recent weeks, and I expect Kilmarnock to give the hosts some problems on Sunday.

Sunday´s Premiership encounter will be the 29th meeting between Rangers and Kilmarnock since 2014. The Gers won 16 of those matches with Kilmarnock victorious on six occasions.

Rangers have won their last six home matches against Killie over the past five years.

An out-of-form Rangers maintained their Premiership title hopes with a hard-fought 2-1 win at St. Mirren last weekend. A late goal from Cyriel Dessers secured a massive three points for Phillipe Clement's side.

Following a miserable run, which saw the Glasgow side win just two of eight matches, Rangers have responded well. The Gers claimed a 2-0 Scottish Cup semi-final win against Hearts before their vital road win at the aforementioned Saints.

With just four games to play in the Premiership season, Rangers remain three points behind champions Celtic.

Head coach Clement has been dealt a significant blow with the loss of Conor Goldson, who will miss the remainder of the season with a knee injury.

Ryan Jack, Abdallah Sima and Rabbi Matondo remain sidelined, while South American forwards Oscar Cortes and Danilo will not feature again this season.

Turkish full-back Ridvan Yilmaz could return to the squad this weekend after a near-two month layoff.

Kilmarnock make the trip to Glasgow unbeaten in six Premiership matches following a goalless draw against Hearts last weekend. The Ayrshire side have collected 12 points from a possible 18 since a 2-1 defeat against Rangers in March.

David Watson, Lewis Mayo, Kyle Vassell, Stuart Findlay, and Rory McKenzie are all likely to remain sidelined for the in-form visitors.
