Celtic's winning record in this fixture is hard to ignore, and I expect the Hoops to comfortably claim a place in the Scottish Cup Final.

Celtic have a commanding advantage against Aberdeen in their H2H record since the turn of the century. The Hoops won 69 and lost just nine of 86 matches since 2003.

The Dons have not beaten Celtic since 2018 while their last cup triumph against the Glaswegians came in 2014.

Aberdeen make the trip to Glasgow unbeaten in four matches after a pair of back-to-back goalless draws against Dundee and Livingston. The Dons have picked up eight points from five Premiership matches since the departure of former boss Neil Warnock last month.

Now under the temporary charge of Peter Leven, the Dons announced this week the appointment of Elfsborg head coach Jimmy Thelin, who will take charge at the end of the campaign.

Brendan Rodgers's side have found their shooting boots in recent weeks, with three goals or more scored in seven of their last eight matches.

The Premiership champions are aiming to reach their sixth Scottish Cup Final since 2017.

Celtic have a strong squad available for the first of this weekend's Scottish Cup semi-finals. Liam Scales is set to miss out, while Daizen Maeda's hamstring injury means he is unlikely to feature again this season.
