I expect a positive reaction from Celtic after last weekend's shock loss at Hearts.

Head to Head

Celtic have won their last six matches against Livingston over the past two years, with three goals scored in four of those wins. The Hoops won by two goals or more in five of their last six victories against Livi.

The Lions avoided defeat against Celtic in eight of their previous 16 matches between 2018 and 2022.

Celtic slipped to their third Premiership defeat of the season with a disappointing 2-0 loss at Hearts last Sunday. The Hoops missed the chance to go top of the table after Rangers fell to a surprise defeat against Motherwell 24 hours earlier.

Brendan Rodgers's side return to Parkhead, where they have won five and drawn one of six games since a 2-0 loss against Hearts in December.

The Premiership champions secured their place in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals with a comfortable 2-0 win at St Mirren in February.

Celtic are unable to call on a handful of first-team players on Sunday. Hyun-Jun Yang is suspended, while Maik Nawrocki, Reo Hatate, James McCarthy and Callum McGregor are also expected to remain injury absentees.

Liel Abada is no longer available after the Israeli winger completed a move to MLS side Charlotte earlier this week.

Livingston Form

Livingston make the short journey to Glasgow winless in three matches after a 1-1 draw against relegation rivals St Johnstone last Saturday. David Martindale's side remain bottom of the Premiership, ten points short of safety with only nine games left to play.

The Lions have won only three of their last 21 matches - two of which came in Scottish Cup victories against Championship opponents Raith Rovers and Partick Thistle.

Away from home, Livingston have lost 19 and won just one of their last 23 matches against top-flight opposition.

Livingston have a fully fit squad available for Sunday's Scottish Cup tie. Despite a lack of winning form, head coach Martindale is likely to keep faith with much of the same XI that earned a point against St Johnstone.

Bruce Anderson and Joel Nouble could come into contention should the visitors opt to freshen their selection.

Celtic should make light work of their out-of-form opponents on Sunday.

I'm backing Celtic to win by at least two goals, and they can net at least three against a poor Livi side.
