Celtic have found their best form at just the right time, and they should have too much quality for an out-of-sorts Gers side.

I'm backing Celtic to lift the trophy and to score at least two goals in a game where BTTS is also a likely outcome.

Rangers and Celtic will face each other for the 441st time on Sunday. Remarkably, Rangers have won just one more game in their entire history. The Gers boast 169 wins to Celtic's 168.

Celtic have enjoyed a dominant recent spell against their Glasgow rivals. The Hoops won seven and lost only one of their last 11 confrontations over the past two years.

Celtic wrapped up another title-winning season with an entertaining 3-2 win against St Mirren on the final day of the Premiership season. Brendan Rodgers's side secured the league crown with one game to spare after a crushing 5-0 win at Kilmarnock three days earlier.

Free-flowing in attack, the Hoops have scored three goals or more in nine of 11 unbeaten games since a 2-0 defeat at Hearts in March.

Scottish Cup winners in five of the last seven seasons, Celtic are unbeaten in 33 of their 35 previous matches in this competition.

Celtic boss Rodgers has no new injury issues ahead of Saturday's Scottish Cup showdown in Glasgow. Daizen Maeda will return to the starting XI after he was rested for last weekend's win against St Mirren.
