Rampant Rangers can secure a tenth successive league victory at Ibrox this weekend.

I'm confidently backing a home win with over 2.5 goals scored, while the Gers could score three or more against a leaky Motherwell defence.

Rangers boast a predictably dominant winning H2H record against Motherwell.

The Gers have won 18 and drawn six of their last 24 Premiership matches since 2016. Motherwell have not beaten Rangers since a 2-0 League Cup victory at Ibrox in 2017.

An on-form Rangers maintained their brilliant winning run with an excellent comeback victory at Kilmarnock on Wednesday. Two goals in the space of four minutes from James Tavernier and Tom Lawrence secured a vital 2-1 win at Rugby Park.

Still two points clear at the top of the Premiership after Celtic's demolition of Dundee, the Gers have won each of their last 11 matches since the turn of the year.

Dominant in Glasgow, Phillipe Clement's side have won 13 of their last 14 matches at Ibrox, including a 5-0 destruction of Hearts last weekend.

Oscar Cortes became the latest Rangers injury concern after the Colombian picked up a knock in the Gers midweek win at Rugby Park. Clement is likely to continue his rotation policy, so Rabbi Matonto, Ross McCausland, and Fabio Silva are all in contention for a recall to the first XI.

Todd Cantwell, Kieran Dowell, Danilo, and Abdallah Sima are long-term absentees for the on-form Govan side.

Motherwell Form

Motherwell make the short journey to Glasgow boosted by a much-needed comeback win at bottom-of-the-table Livingston on Wednesday. New boy Sam Nicholson led the fightback with his second-half equaliser helping the Steelmen on their way to a 3-1 away victory.

Stuart Kettlewell's side had failed to win any of their last 11 away fixtures prior to Wednesday's turnaround. Now eighth in the Premiership, Motherwell sit six points above the relegation playoff position.

Head coach Kettlewell is likely to hand a recall to recently acquired forward Jack Vale after the former Blackburn forward scored his third goal in six appearances against Livi. The visitors have no new injury issues, but Callum Slattery remains sidelined.
