HTH

Inter Milan have a 28-25 advantage against Lazio with 22 draws in 75 matches.

They last met in February, the Coppa Italia game being won by Inter Milan 2-0.

Inter Milan Form

Inter Milan are entering the final two rounds of Serie A in 2nd place, having accumulated 77 points from 36 games, one point behind leaders Napoli.

They were leading the title race before a 1-0 loss to Bologna in mid-April, followed by another 1-0 defeat at home to Roma.

Nerazzurri bounced back with two straight wins in May, beating Verona 1-0 at Giuseppe Meazza (Kristjan Asllani on target) and Torino 2-0 last weekend (goals from Asllani and Nicola Zalewski).

Simone Inzaghi’s side are enjoying an incredible run in the Champions League, having beaten Barcelona 4-3 in extra time to secure a spot in the final, where they will face PSG later this month.

Lazio Form

Lazio are battling fiercely for a Top 4 spot in Serie A, currently sitting 5th with the same number of points as 4th-placed Juventus.

They are unbeaten in their last five league games, though they’ve managed just two wins and three draws. After a disappointing 2-2 home draw against relegation-threatened Parma, the Sky Blues edged Empoli 1-0 thanks to an early goal from Boulaye Dia.

Last weekend, Marco Baroni’s side narrowly avoided defeat at the Olimpico, drawing 1-1 with Juventus after Matias Vecino scored a dramatic equalizer in the 96th minute.

Lazio also enjoyed a solid Europa League campaign, reaching the semifinals, where they lost to Bodo/Glimt in a penalty shootout after a 3-3 aggregate draw in mid-April.

Team News

Lautaro Martinez could be sidelined for Inter Milan after pushing through injury in the semifinal against Barcelona, while Davide Frattesi is also a doubt with an abdominal problem. Henrikh Mkhitaryan and Benjamin Pavard are unavailable due to injury, but Kristjan Asllani should be fit despite taking a knock in the Torino game.

Lazio will be without Mattia Zaccagni and Luca Pellegrini, who are both suspended. Nuno Tavares is also ruled out with an injury. Manuel Lazzari and Elseid Hysaj return to the squad, while Patric remains a doubt due to an ankle issue.

Predicted Starting Lineups

Inter Milan: Sommer, Bisseck, Acerbi, Bastoni, Darmian, Asllani, Zielinski, Zalewski, Carlos Augusto, Thuram, Taremi

Lazio: Mandas, Lazzari, Gila, Romagnoli, Marusic, Guendouzi, Rovella, Isaksen, Dia, Pedro, Castellanos
