The Old Lady have won five consecutive league matches, climbing to 4th place. They secured victories over Empoli (4-1), Como (2-1), Inter Milan (1-0), and Cagliari (1-0) throughout February.

That winning streak extended last weekend in Turin with a 2-0 win against Verona, as Khephren Thuram and Teun Koopmeiners finding the net in the second half.

Atalanta Form

Like their upcoming opponents, Atalanta were also eliminated from the Champions League playoffs in February, losing 2-1 and 3-1 to Club Brugge.

In Serie A, La Dea remain in the title race, currently sitting 3rd with 55 points after 27 rounds, three behind leaders Inter Milan.

Gian Piero Gasperini’s side have won just two of their last five league matches, starting the last month with a 1-1 draw against Torino, followed by a dominant 5-0 win over Verona.

After a goalless draw with Cagliari, Atalanta ended February with another 5-0 victory at Empoli but were held to a disappointing 0-0 draw against Venezia in their first March fixture.
