Andrea Pirlo’s side won 2-0 at Sampdoria and followed up with a 2-1 win at Inter Milan in the Coppa Italia semi-final first leg. They fell behind in Milan but Ronaldo struck twice to overturn the deficit.

Juventus are close to full strength. 

Midfielder Rodrigo Bentancur is suspended and Argentine attacker Paulo Dybala is out with a medial collateral ligament injury.

Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini will be hoping for a start in central defence.

Alvaro Morata should replace Dejan Kulusevski up front and start next to Ronaldo.

Paulo Fonseca’s side then lost 3-0 against Lazio in the Rome derby. 

I Giallorossi were dumped out of the Coppa Italia against Spezia, losing 4-2 in extra time and given a 3-0 loss for fielding too many substitutes. 

Roma returned to winning ways at home in Serie A. They won 4-3 against Spezia with Lorenzo Pellegrini scoring in the 91st minute and 3-1 against Verona after leading 3-0 at half time.
