Serie A Winner Odds - Juventus Backed To Regain Italian Crown
- Juventus backed to regain Serie A crown this season
- Juve 11/10 for 10th Italian title in the last 11 years
- Inter Milan 5/2 to retain ahead of 11/2 Atalanta
Juventus were finally knocked off their perch last season, but the bookies are backing them to regain their Serie A crown quickly.
Juve went into the 2020/21 campaign seeking an historic 10th straight title in the Italian top flight.
They finished well off the pace though, narrowly scraping into the Champions League with a fourth-placed finish.
Massimiliano Allegri’s side finished 13 points behind winners Inter Milan, and they have not responded with a busy summer in the transfer market.
Like most big clubs they have felt the pinch of events over the past 18 months so cash has not been splashed on new talent.
That has not affected their standing with the bookies though, as bet365 make them 11/10 favourites.
Inter are next up in the betting at 5/2 despite their dominant championship-winning season in 2020/21.
Inter finished 12 points clear of the rest, but there has been one notable departure in Achraf Hakimi this summer and there could soon be another.
Romelu Lukaku could be on his way back to Chelsea and his exit would be a big blow for Inter in their bid to retain.
Atalanta are next up in the betting at 11/2 following their third-placed finish last season.
That price puts them ahead of the team that finished a point ahead of them in the runners-up spot, AC Milan.
It has been a long time since Milan lifted the title and at 12/1 the bookies are not completely sold on their chances of ending that drought.
Napoli narrowly missed out on the top four last time around, and they are 10/1 to lift the trophy for the first time in over 30 years.
