Udinese are tipped to beat Bologna in an Italian Serie A fixture at the Dacia Arena with the hosts priced at 2.50 to secure the win.

Udinese are coming off a 1-0 victory at home against Chievo in their last Serie A fixture. Lukasz Teodorczyk struck the only goal five minutes from time to earn the Udine club all three points.

Davide Nicola's team are perilously close to the relegation zone as they sit three points above the bottom three. Udinese have defended well at home in recent matches with just three goals conceded in their last five matches, keeping two clean sheets in that run thanks to Troost-Ekong, Nicolas Opoku and Bram Nuytinck in defence.

Bologna seem unable to raise themselves out of the relegation zone having spent much of the season in the bottom three. They are three points behind the hosts on the table and have lost their last two matches.

I Rossoblu were beaten 1-0 at home by champions Juventus in their last Serie A fixture. Sinisa Mihajlovic's team were no match for the Turin club as they could only muster one shot on target.

Federico Santander has featured as the lone striker for much of the season, scoring just six goals. The striker is expected to be paired with Riccardo Orsolini, who has just two goals to his name this season.

Udinese have 16 wins and nine draws while Bologna have won 12 from 37 previous matches. The hosts have also won five of the last eight meetings at home, keeping clean sheets in their last two.

The reverse fixture earlier this season finished in a 2-1 win to Bologna, Santander and Orsolini turned the match around for I Rossoblu after Udinese had taken a first half lead.

Udinese will be banking on their fine defensive record at home having conceded three goals in their last five matches. Troost-Ekong, Okpoku and Nuytinck have been pivotal in that run.

Bologna have struggled in attack throughout the season with Santander and Orsolini combining for just eight goals. Nether man has found the net in their last three appearances and are likely to struggle against a sturdy Udinese defence.

Udinese can build on last weekend's win over Chievo, they look up for the fight in recent matches and are predicted to win on Sunday at odds of 2.50.
