Barcelona faced a tough test in their midweek Champions League clash in Portugal against Benfica, going down to ten men after Pau Cubarsi was sent off in the 22nd minute. Despite the setback, they secured a 1-0 win thanks to Raphinha’s 61st-minute goal.

Osasuna Form

Osasuna have been inconsistent in La Liga throughout February, picking up just six points from their last six matches and currently sitting in 11th place.

They put in a strong performance in mid-February, holding title contenders Real Madrid to a 1-1 draw, with Ante Budimir converting a second-half penalty.

The squad from Pamplona followed that up with a 1-0 defeat to Celta Vigo before managing only a 3-3 home draw against relegation-threatened Valencia last weekend. Aimar Oroz scored twice, while Budimir was also on target.

Team News

Gavi is recovering from a virus infection, tagged as doubtful for this match, while Marc-Andre ter Stegen and Marc Bernal are still ruled out for Barcelona.

As for the visitors, Aimar Oroz (muscle injury) and Abel Bretones (fitness) are sidelined.
