Espanyol were victorious in both of their appearances this month, demolishing Rayo Vallecano 4-0 on the road, then earning another away win at Celta Vigo 2-0, Roberto Fernandez being the top performer in these encounters with three goals and one assist.

Getafe Form

Getafe have been one of the toughest teams to predict in La Liga recently beating a couple of big guns but also losing to table strugglers at home. Overall, they are having a decent campaign, occupying 11th place with 39 points after 31 rounds.

Los Azulones were in red-hot form in early March, earning back to back victories against Atletico Madrid 2-1 and Getafe 2-1 before losing to Villarreal 2-1.

They started this month with a convincing 4-0 victory against Valladolid on the road, Ramon Terrats starring with two goals, but lost to relegation candidate Las Palmas 3-1 last weekend at home.

Javi Puado is serving a suspension for Espanyol, while Brian Olivan (calf injury) and Jose Gragera (toe injury) are also ruled out.

Getafe are one of the most successful La Liga teams in 2025 when it comes to road games and I don’t see them losing at Montjuic. Espanyol are also in great shape so I am backing these two sides to settle for a draw.
