Leganes’ form has dipped drastically in the last couple of weeks, and I don’t see them holding red-hot Barca on Saturday. An away win HT-FT is my top prediction.

Leganes have been struggling in the last couple of weeks, grabbing just one point from their last four La Liga appearances and dropped into the relegation zone with eight rounds left.

They were victorious in their first March contest, beating Getafe 1-0 at home, but then suffered three back to back defeats to Celta Vigo 2-1, Real Betis 3-2 and Real Madrid 3-2, Dani Raba scoring three times in these encounters.

Leganes ended their losing streak last weekend, Raba being the hero with his late equalizer against Osasuna (1-1 FT).

Barcelona Form

Hansi Flick’s side had six appearances across competitions in March and secured six victories against Sociedad 4-0, Benfica 1-0 & 3-1, Atletico Madrid 4-2, Osasuna 3-0 and Girona 4-1.

They were also victorious earlier this month against Atletico Madrid 1-0 in the Spanish Cup, advancing to the grand finals (5-4 on aggregate), Ferran Torres finding the net.

Barca’s incredible winning run has come to an end last weekend though, being held to a 1-1 draw at home by Real Betis where Gavi was the sole scorer, but still lead the La Liga title race.

Blaugrana’s most recent appearance was during the mid-week UCL quarterfinal action, crushing Borussia Dortmund 4-0 at home in the first leg, Robert Lewandowski on target, Raphinha and Yamal also on target.

Team News

Enric Franquesa is out with a long-term injury for the home team, but they will welcome Oscar Rodriguez back after serving a suspension.

As for the Catalan giants, Marc Casado, Marc-Andre ter Stegen, Marc Bernal and Dani Olmo remain on the sidelines with injuries.
