Middlesbrough Form

Middlesbrough are coming off a 1-0 home defeat against Leeds in their previous Championship fixture. It was yet another poor performance as they barely threatened the Leeds defence and finished with just two attempts on target.

Boro are now just three points above the relegation zone having lost four of their last five Championship matches. Jonathan Woodgate's men have also lost their last two home matches, failing to score in both fixtures.

Middlesbrough are without centre backs Dael Fry and Daniel Ayala who are both sidelined with injury. Winger Patrick Roberts is also ruled out of Monday’s match alongside right back Anfernee Dijksteel who is still recovering from a knee problem.

Forest have reignited their promotion hopes as they sit six points behind Leeds in second place. Sabri Lamouchi's men have recorded some impressive results in recent weeks, claiming a 2-0 victory over Leeds and also winning 1-0 at Brentford.
