Nottingham Forest vs Bournemouth Predictions & Tips - Bournemouth to remain unbeaten under Woodgate

Nottingham Forest are unbeaten in nine of their last 10 league matches while Bournemouth’s form has improved since Jonathan Woodgate took over. With Forest being at home my best bet is for them to hold Bournemouth to a draw.

Nottingham Forest and Bournemouth are level at 4-4 in 12 previous meetings. There have also been four draws.

They last met in November 2020 where Bournemouth won 2-0 at home.

Nottingham Forest had a terrible start to their season but have started moving away from the relegation zone. Forest have only suffered one defeat in their last 10 league matches.

After beating Millwall 3-1 at home in the Championship, Nottingham Forest lost 2-1 at home to Middlesbrough. That was followed by a 5-1 defeat at Swansea in the FA Cup.

Since then, Forest have not lost. They drew 0-0 at home to Barnsley and then beat Coventry 2-1 away. 

A Glenn Murray brace along with a goal from Anthony Knochaert secured The Reds a 3-0 victory in their last match against bottom side, Wycombe Wanderers.

Nottingham Forest have a full squad available for this encounter. Central midfielder, Harry Arter will need to show discipline as he is one yellow card away from suspension.

After a flying start to the season, Bournemouth have had a bit of a slump in 2021. They currently hold sixth place in the Championship, the final promotion playoff position.

Bournemouth beat Crawley Town 2-1 at home in the FA Cup before suffering successive Championship defeats at Reading (3-1) and at home to Sheffield Wednesday (2-1).

The latter result saw The Cherries part company with manager, Jason Tindall. Jonathan Woodgate has taken over and won his first two matches in charge.

That started with a 3-2 victory at home against Birmingham City before beating Burnley 2-0 away in their last match to advance in the FA Cup.

Sam Surridge opened the scoring in the 21st minute at Turf Moor while Junior Stanislas sealed the victory with an 88th minute penalty.

Jonathan Woodgate should welcome midfielder, Jack Wilshere back into the squad after being rested in the FA Cup match.

Junior Stanislas returned to fitness to play against Burnley and should feature once again. Dominic Solanke remains a doubt with new signing, Shane Long in with a chance to start.
