Reading Form


Reading lost their eighth consecutive match in all competitions last time out. The Royals fell to a 3-2 home defeat against Coventry.

Veljko Paunović’s side led through Lucas João’s early goal before they conceded two either side of half time. Andy Yiadom then equalised before Coventry netted the winner with 25 minutes left. 

Reading have taken just one point from their eight matches in 2022 and they haven’t won since November. They are firmly in the relegation battle, two points off the drop and ten points behind Cardiff in 20th place.

Defenders Felipe Araruna, Scott Dann are out due to injury.
