Derby have a 24-20 advantage against QPR in 64 meetings with 20 draws. The Rams lost 1-0 on their last visit to Loftus Road.

QPR Form

QPR are 13th in the Championship and just four points off the play-off places. The Rs have won five of their last eight league games, with three wins coming at home.

Martí Cifuentes’ side won four in a row to start 2025 before losing 2-0 against Sheffield Wednesday. QPR lost again at Millwall 2-1 before replying with a 2-1 home triumph against promotion-chasing Blackburn.

The Hoops couldn’t build winning momentum and lost 1-0 at Coventry. They conceded in the 93rd minute after failing to score with 12 shots and three on target.

QPR Injuries

Forwards Karamoko Dembélé, Zan Celar and Lucas Andersen are set to miss out through injury.

Defender Jake Clarke-Salter and midfielder Harvey Vale are sidelined with injuries.

Derby Form

Derby sacked former manager Paul Warne on Friday with the club above the relegation zone on goal difference. The Midlands outfit are winless in 10 consecutive matches in all competitions, losing seven.

The Rams were on a seven-match losing sequence in the Championship, with just three goals scored. They ended this streak with a 1-1 draw at Norwich, with caretaker manager Matt Hamshaw at the helm.

Another draw came at home on Tuesday after a goalless stalemate against Oxford United. Derby had 14 shots, with six on target, and couldn’t find the breakthrough.

Derby Injuries

Defensive pair Curtis Nelson and Kane Wilson won’t make the squad due to injury.

Forward Dajaune Brown and midfielder Corey Blackett-Taylor are also ruled out with injuries.

Verdict

QPR have one of the best recent home records in the Championship and Derby rarely threaten on the road. There is value on the Rs to seal a second conseucitve win at Loftus Road on Friday.
