QPR vs Stoke Betting Tips, Predictions & Odds - Draw tipped in Championship clash

  • QPR and Stoke City meet in the Championship on Tuesday
  • The match kicks off at 5.30pm GMT at Loftus Road
  • QPR have drawn 2 of their last 3 home matches against Stoke
  • Stoke have drawn 2 of their last 3 away matches

QPR host Stoke City on the EFL Championship on Tuesday with Mark Warburton's side bidding to snap a poor recent run of form.

Four defeats in their last five games for QPR contrasts with just one loss in the same period for Stoke, but will that form stand up at Loftus Road?

QPR Form

QPR have hit a sticky patch of form with four defeats in their last five games. They have collected just one point during that run.

Mark Warburton's side lost away at Brentford 2-1, went down 2-1 at home to Bristol City and lost 2-0 on the road at Huddersfield.

QPR ended the run of losses with a share of the points from a 1-1 draw at Millwall last week. Ilias Chair opened the scoring from the Hoops before Jon Dadi Bodvarsson levelled for Millwall.

It looked like another draw on Saturday with the game against Reading heading for a 0-0 stalemate. But Michael Olise grabbed an 89th minute winner for the Royals at Loftus Road.

QPR Team News

Albert Adomah has had to make do with bit-part roles from the bench, but could be in line to return to the starting line-up on Tuesday.

Full-back Osman Kakay is a doubt after picking up an injury against Reading. Midfielder Luke Amos remains out.

Stoke Form

Stoke have enjoyed an upturn in form of late with just one defeat in their last five games. But that loss came in the last two fixtures and means the bounce in form has stalled.

The Potters were beaten 2-1 at home to Cardiff last week despite taking the lead courtesy of a Sean Morrison own goal midway through the first-half.

Michael O'Neill's side were held to a disappointing 0-0 at lowly Derby on Saturday. Stoke registered just one shot on goal in the entire game at Pride Park.

Stoke Team News

Sam Vokes is in line for a return to the Stoke attack in search of goals, while Tom Ince could come into the team after a spell on the bench.

The Potters are still without goalkeepers Angus Gunn and Adam Davies as well as midfielders Jon Obi Mikel and Joe Allen.

QPR vs Stoke Head to Head

QPR lead the head to head 5-3 over the last 11 clashes with Stoke. There have also been three draws during that time.

Last season, victory went to the Hoops in both fixtures. Jordan Hugill and Eberechi Eze scored in a 2-1 win at Stoke before QPR won 4-2 at home after being 2-0 down. Hugill and Eze scored again along with Bright Osayi-Samuel and Ilias Chair.
