Odds slashed on Kylian Mbappe making mega-money Saudi switch this summer

Bookmakers have slashed the odds on Kylian Mbappe joining a Saudi Arabian club this summer.
Mbappe has been put up for sale by current employers Paris St Germain, and there will be no shortage of suitors for his signature.
Spanish giants Real Madrid are the odds-on favourites to land the Frenchman, with Coral 4/5 that he heads to the Bernabeu this summer.
That ties in with reports claiming he has already agreed to join Real when his contract with PSG expires in the summer of 2024.
However, it is now just Even money that Mbappe moves before then and becomes the latest big-name talent to defect to the big-spending Saudi Arabian league.
“It’s long been believed Mbappe would join Real Madrid this summer, but interest from Saudi Arabia has really thrown a spanner in the works,” Coral’s Lewis Knowles told FreeTips.com.
“We want to see the best players playing in Europe’s top leagues, so it would be a real blow to football in Europe if one of its biggest stars opted to ply his trade in the Middle East.”
But would it really throw a ‘spanner in the works’ as far as Real Madrid are concerned?
Reports claim Al Hilal have made a world record bid of £259million for the 24-year-old forward, and it is also being reported that they are willing to offer him a one-year deal worth $600million.
If PSG and Mbappe were both to accept those terms, the French club would avoid losing the player for nothing and Real Madrid would still get their man – for no fee – in a years' time!
