Galatasaray started their Turkish Cup campaign with a bit surprising 2-2 home draw against Istanbul Basaksehir in January, Davinson Sanchez and Abdulkerim Bardakci finding equalizers in the second half.
Cimbom have slipped a couple of times across competitions recently as well. After a 1-1 draw against Hatayspor, they were held to a 3-3 draw by Dinamo Kiev in the Europa League.
Okan Buruk’s side returned to winning ways with a 1-0 home win against Konyaspor on 25th January, but then lost 2-1 in Amsterdam to Ajax (still advanced to the playoffs).
Last weekend, Galatasaray won three points against Gaziantep 1-0 away from home, Ahmed Kutucu scoring the only goal just five minutes in.
