Alanyaspor have struggled in the Super Lig recently, picking up just three points from their last four matches and dropping to 12th place but remain relatively safe from the relegation battle.

After back-to-back defeats to Fenerbahce (2-0) and Hatayspor (1-0) in mid-February, they returned to winning ways with a dramatic 3-2 comeback victory over last-placed Adana Demirspor at home. Trailing by two goals at halftime, Yusuf Ozdemir emerged as the hero, netting the winner in stoppage time.

The Thunders underperformed last weekend, suffering a 3-1 defeat at Rizespor. Andraz Sporar scored their only goal from the penalty spot in the second half.

Galatasaray Form

Galatasaray are under massive pressure, failing to secure a win in their last four matches across all competitions, with their Super Lig lead over Fenerbahce shrinking to just four points.

Okan Buruk’s side narrowly held Fenerbahce to a goalless draw in late February, finishing the match with 0.12-1.53 expected goals and a 4-10 shots.

They ended the month with another 0-0 draw against Konyaspor in the Turkish Cup before playing out a 3-3 draw at Kasimpasa last weekend. Victor Osimhen scored twice, while Mario Lemina also found the net.

Earlier in February, Galatasaray were eliminated from the Europa League playoffs by AZ Alkmaar, losing 6-3 on aggregate (4-1 in Holland, 2-2 at home).

Team News

Buluthan Bulut is the only injury concern for Alanyaspor. Their Nuno Lima and Florent Hadergjonaj are back after serving a one-match suspension last weekend.

As for the visitors, Mauro Icardi remains sidelined with long-term injury, while Ismail Jakobs is also ruled out.
