Antalyaspor vs Kayserispor Predictions & Tips - Kayserispor can frustrate Antalyaspor

Antalyaspor have shown some impressive home form of late, but Kayserispor come into this one having drawn their last five matches. 

Antalyaspor hold a 14-8 lead in 34 matches against Kayserispor with 12 draws. 

They last met in February 2020 where it ended 2-2. They have drawn their last three matches against each other.

Antalyaspor are on a decent run despite sitting 15th in the Turkish Super Lig. They are on 14 points, five points clear of the bottom three.

Antalyaspor are unbeaten in their last five matches across all competitions. That run began with a 2-0 cup success at home against Pendikspor before having to settle for a 2-2 draw at Erzurumspor – a match they really should have won.

The disappointment was quickly put to bed with a 1-0 home victory against Ankaragucu. A goalless draw followed at Sivasspor.

Gokdeniz Bayrakdar secured victory for Antalyspor in their last match against Boluspor in the Turkish Cup. Defensively Antalyspor have been impressive recently and they will look to keep this run going on Monday.

Antalyaspor have no fresh injury concerns but they do have a number of players on the long term injury list.

Midfielders Ufuk Akyol and Hakan Ozmert are still out with a return date not set. Wingers Jean-Armel Drole and Serdar Gurler will also still be on the treatment table for some time.

Centre-back Bahadir Ozturk is expected back any day now but is unlikely to feature on Monday.

Kayserispor are currently sitting just above the relegation zone on 10 points after 11 matches. Performances and results have improved somewhat recently but the three points still escape them.

Kayserispor have drawn their last five matches, four of which have been in the Turkish Super Lig. The Cup draw unfortunately saw them eliminated on penalties against Hekimoglu Trabzon.

Since that result Kayserispor have drawn three on the bounce. First it was 0-0 at home against Fatih Karagumruk followed by a 1-1 result at Goztepe. It was another game that Kayserispor should have won having taken the lead through Pedro Henrique, but they allow Goztepe to score with five minutes to play.

Their last match ended 0-0 at home to Trabzonspor. Kayserispor had 14 shots on goal compared to Trabzonspor’s 9 but their inability to score cost them three points once again.

Goalkeeper Ismail Cipe is in quarantine and will miss this match, but will be available thereafter. Another goalkeeper in Siliviu Lung Jr. is out with a thigh muscle strain.

Forward Omer Uzun has been out since mid-October but he is not expected back anytime soon. Left-back Yasir Subasi, midfielder Gustavo Campanharo and forward Wilfried Kanga are all missing for this encounter.
