Eyupspor are having a fantastic run in the Turkish Super Lig after earning promotion last season, currently sitting in 5th place just one point short from UEFA Conference League spot.

Arda Turan’s side recovered from a 3-1 home loss against Istanbul Basaksehir in late March and earned two straight victories in April against table strugglers Hatayspor 1-0 and Adana Demirspor 6-0.

Their winning run has come to an end last weekend with a 1-0 road loss against Rizespor, ending that match with 0.34-0.86 expected goals, 64% possession and 7-11 shots.

Galatasaray are just a couple of victories away from defending the Super Lig title, sitting top of the table with a five-point advantage over Fenerbahce with six rounds remaining.

Okan Buruk’s side has recovered from a 2-1 defeat to Besiktas in late March and won both top flight encounters so far in April against Samsunspor 2-0 and Bodrumspor 2-0.

They are having a lot of success in the Turkish Cup as well. After beating Fenerbahce 2-1 in the quarterfinals, Cimbom crushed Konyaspor 5-1 during the mid-week and advanced to grand finals.

Roland Sallai was man of the match with two goals, Victor Osimhen, Lucas Torreira and Yusuf Demir also on target.

Fredrik Midtsjo is out for the season with a knee injury, while Sinan Gumus is not expected to return until next month. There are no suspensions for Eyupspor.
