Kasimpasa vs Erzurumspor Predictions & Tips - Kasimpasa can get back to winning ways

Neither team come into this encounter in particularly good form but Kasimpasa have enjoyed plenty success at home. Both defences tend to leak goals so I’m backing Kasimpasa to win and both teams to score.

Kasimpasa have only played Erzurumspor on two occasions. The last match ended in a 2-1 home win for Kasimpasa in April 2019. They drew 1-1 in the other match that season.

Kasimpasa are 13th on the Turkish Super Lig table on 22 points. Their form will however need to improve or they could soon be looking over their shoulder at the relegation zone.

Over the course of the season, Kasimpasa have been good at home but their two most recent matches on home soil have not gone well. 

A 4-0 home defeat to Gaziantep was followed by a 3-0 loss at home to Fenerbahce. Sandwiched between those results was a 2-2 draw at Istanbul Basaksehir.

Kasimpasa did manage to upset the odds at Alanyaspor when they won 2-0 thanks to goals by Armin Hondi and Yusuf Erdogan. They also played 65 minutes with 10 men after Oussama Haddadi saw red.

In their last match Kasimpasa went down 1-0 at Fenerbahce in the Turkish Cup. With the league top of their priority list, Kasimpasa rested a few players for that encounter.

Defender Julian Jeanvier and midfielder Tarkan Serbest are both still out injured. 

Haris Hajradinovic is also not back from injury yet, nor is forward Bengali-Fode Koita.

Oussama Haddadi is still suspended for this match.

Erzurumspor are bottom of the Turkish Super Lig with only three wins in their 18 matches. On 13 points, they are still only two points from getting out of relegation so hope is not all lost.

Unfortunately Erzurumspor have only managed to take one point from their last three league matches while they were also knocked out of the Turkish Cup.

An impressive 1-1 home draw against Gaziantep was followed by a 1-0 defeat at Istanbul Basaksehir. They then lost 3-0 at home to Fenerbahce is their last Super Lig encounter.

In midweek Erzurumspor went down 4-1 at Alanyaspor in the Turkish Cup.They took a seventh minute lead through Oltan Karakullukca but couldn't hold out a rampant Alanyaspor.

Erzurumspor have a number of injury concerns leading into this encounter.

Attacking midfielder, Gabriel Obertan, winger Jugurtha Hamroun, midfielder Petrus Boumal, forward Omer Sismanoglu and centre-back Hasan Hatipoglu have all be ruled out.

Osman Celik is suspended for yellow card accumulation so will be missing in the engine room.
