Sivasspor vs Denizlispor Predictions & Tips - Sivasspor can pile misery on Denizlispor

Sivasspor have improved since their European commitments came to an end so they should have enough quality to win here. They have won three of their last four matches with their one defeat coming while playing with 10 men for 45 minutes.

Last season Sivasspor beat Denizlispor 2-0 away and 1-0 at home.

Sivasspor have a lot of work to do to climb the table after a horror start to their season. The UEFA Europa League is now out of the way so they can solely focus on climbing the league table.

Performances have certainly picked up since their exit from Europe but that form fell flat in their last match. Sivasspor were on a three-match winning run until their visit to Besiktas where they lost 3-0 with 10 men after Hakan Arslan saw red on 45 minutes.

Sivasspor’s winning run had begun with a 1-0 home win over Giresunspor in the Turkish Cup. That was followed by a 1-0 league win at Konyaspor and a 3-1 home victory over Genclerbirligi.

Mark Gradel, Hakan Arslan and Mustapha Yatabare were the goal scorers. 

Centre-back Samba Camara is injured so Caner Osmanpasa will feature at the back in this match.

Hakan Arslan is missing through suspension after getting two yellows against Besiktas. Claudemir is likely to feature in his place in central midfield.

Denizlispor find themselves in the relegation dogfight in 19th position after 14 matches. They will want to pick up some points over the course of the next few games to get out of the bottom four.

Denizlispor have managed to get two wins from their last five matches which has given some hope. After losing 2-0 at home to Fenerbahce and 3-2 at Kasimpasa, Denizlispor won twice in succession.

First they defeated the early pace setters in the Turkish Super Lig, Alanyaspor 1-0 at home before seeing of BB Erzurumspor 2-1 away.

Unfortunately that run came to an abrupt end at home against Ankaragucu. It was a poor performance by Denizlispor, especially in the first half where Ankaragucu took a 2-0 lead into the break. Recep Nyaz scored a consolation goal late on to make it 2-1.

Denizlispor are only missing winger Angelo Sagal through injury from the first team. Ismail Aissati is the most likely replacement.

Fringe players Ozgur Cek, Cenk Gonen and Sakib Aytact are all injured but none of them are regular starters.
