Braga ended August with four straight wins, including two victories over Panathinaikos in the Champions League play-offs.
Artur Jorge’s side returned to the Primeira Liga with a 1-1 draw against Sporting CP. They then found themselves 2-1 down at Moreirense with time running out, Simon Banza equalising and Al Musrati heading home in added time to secure a 3-1 win.
Braga are coming off a disappointing 3-1 defeat at Farense. They were 2-0 down when Banza reduced the deficit, but they conceded again two minutes later and couldn’t find a way back.
Napoli Form
Napoli started the season with Rudi Garcia the new manager after Luciano Spalletti left to take over Italy.
Garcia got off to a great start, his new side winning 3-1 at Frosinone where they conceded an early penalty and 2-0 against Sassuolo with Victor Osimhen and Giovanni Di Lorenzo on target.
The Serie A champions had 22-6 shots in a 2-1 defeat against Lazio before being 2-0 down at Genoa on Saturday. Giacomo Raspadori got a goal back with Matteo Politano equalising in the 84th minute.
Verdict
