A lot of important players have left Girona during the summer. They were demolished both by Atletico Madrid and Barcelona, so I don’t see them doing any better against in-form PSG.

The Saints kicked things off with two convincing victories, 4-1 against Le Havre on the road and 6-0 at home against Montpellier, Bradley Barcola scoring three goals in these encounters, Lee Kang-In bagging two goals.

Luis Enrique’s side made it three in a row at Decathlon Arena against Lille 3-1, while extending the winning streak to four games last weekend with a 3-1 home win against Brest.

PSG Injuries & Team News

Lucas Hernandez has been injured since May, expected to be back by late November.

Goncalo Ramos also missed a lot of games due to ankle injury, expected to return on 15th November.

Presnel Kimpembe has been out since last season.

Vitinha and Warren Zaire-Emery are doubtful.

Girona Form

Girona are nowhere close to form and results they had in La Liga’s opening rounds last season. They are currently 8th on the table with seven points from five matches.

The White and Reds struggled in the first two rounds, winning a point at Real Betis 1-1 and then getting demolished in the capital by Atletico Madrid 3-0.

Michel Sanchez’s side played great in late August/early September, earning back to back victories against Osasuna 4-0 and Sevilla 2-0, Abel Ruiz appearing on the scoresheet in both games.

Their winning streak has come to an end last weekend with a convincing 4-1 home defeat to Barcelona.

Yangel Herrera is the only injury concern for Girona.

Christian Stuani and Abel Ruiz are Girona’s top scorers this season, bagging two goals each.
