Tottenham vs Red Star Belgrade Betting Tips

Tottenham should come out on top in their UEFA Champions League clash against Red Star Belgrade. Spurs are often solid at home and with Belgrade winless in their last nine away matches in the competition, a home handicap is one of my tips here.

Tottenham Form

Tottenham suffered a disappointing 7-2 defeat against Bayern Munich last time out in the Champions League. Goals from Son Heung-Min and Harry Kane proved to be mere consolation as they fell to the rampant Germans.

This is a must win match for Mauricio Pochettino’s men and they head into the clash with four victories in their last six home matches in the Champions League. They are short priced to win on Tuesday at 1.22 but given the quality in their attack, a -1 handicap bet offers more value at 1.72.

Tottenham News

Goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga should continue in place of the injured Hugo Lloris while summer signings Giovanni Lo Celso and Ryan Sessegnon remain long term injury absentees. Harry Kane and Son Heung-Min were both on target last time out and should start in attack.

Red Star Belgrade Form

Red Star Belgrade are coming off a 3-1 home win against Olimpiacos in their previous Group B fixture. They fought back from a goal down with Milos Vulic pulling them level before Nemanja Milunovic and Richmond Boakye added late goals to seal the win.

Vladan Milojevic's men do their best work at home and often struggle on the road. They have suffered five defeats in their last eight away matches in the Champions League which has them at odds of 10.00 for an unlikely win in London with a draw priced at 7.00.

Red Star Belgrade News

Red Start Belgrade will be without a number of players with El Fardou Ben Nabouhane, Milan Gajic and Branko Jovicic all set to miss the trip to London. Richmond Boakye could be given a start after coming off the bench to score last time out while striker Tomane is set to lead the line despite finding the net just twice in his last eight appearances.

Tottenham vs Red Star Belgrade Betting Odds

Tottenham are favourites to claim the win at home at odds of 1.22 while Red Star Belgrade are priced at 10.00. A draw set at odds of 7.00. A -1 home handicap is offered at 1.72 on bet365 with an outcome of over 2.5 goals paying 1.50.

Tottenham vs Red Star Belgrade Match Up

Harry Kane has been excellent in recent weeks with seven goals in his last 10 appearances for club and country. He often combines well with Son Heung-Min and both men should get the better of the Red Star defence.

With El Fardou Ben Nabouhane ruled out of Tuesday’s clash, Richmond Boakye could start. Boakye has scored just once in his last six matches while Tomane has just two goals in his last eight appearances.
