Molde enjoyed a run to the last 16 the Europa League last season.

They are battled hardened having played the first half of the Eliteserien season and should be too sharp for Servette, who haven't played competitively since May.

  • Molde have won 6 of their last 8 matches (Eliteserien).
  • Molde have won their last 4 home matches (Eliteserien).
  • Servette have lost 4 of their last 5 matches (all competitions).

Head to Head

This will be the first meeting between Molde and Servette.

Molde Form

Molde are five points clear at the top of the Norwegian Eliteserien despite dropping points in a 1-1 draw with Lillestrom on Sunday.

It was a second blip in the last three games for Erling Moe's side, who lost 1-0 at Sarpsborg at the start of the month.

In between was a 5-0 home win over Odd as they made it four straight victories at Aker Stadion.

Molde earned their spot in UEFA Europa Conference League qualifying after finishing runners-up to Bodo/Glimt in last year's Eliteserien.

Molde Team News

Midfielders Martin Ellingsen, Kristoffer Haraldseid and Fredrik Sjolstad and forward Bjorn Sigurdarson all remain out injured for Molde.

Servette Form

Servette finished third in the Swiss Super League to earn their spot in the new UEFA Europa Conference League.

But Alain Geiger's side ended last season in poor form, losing four of the last five matches.

They went down 1-0 to St Gallen in the Swiss Cup semi-final and then lost to Luzern 3-0 and Lausanne 4-1 in the league.

A 3-1 win at Vaduz was followed by a 2-1 defeat to St Gallen on the final day of the season.

Servette have played four friendlies ahead of the season, drawing with Neuchatel Xamax and Dynamo Kiev and losing to Yverdon and Marseille.

Servette Team News

Servette have signed goalkeeper Steven Deana, midfielders David Douline and Papu Mendes and winger Ronny Rodelin.

Among the departures from last season's squad are defenders Quentin Vieira, Robin Busset, Arial Mendy and Lucas Monteiro, midfielders Varol Tasar and Andrea Maccoppi, winger Alban Ajdini and forward Koro Koné.
