The New Saints Form

The New Saints finished runners-up in the Welsh Premier League last season, missing out on the title by two points to Connor's Quay.

Anthony Limbrick's side warmed up for the new season with a 1-1 friendly draw with East Fife before a disappointing 2-1 defeat to Stafford.

In last week's first leg, TNS took a 13th minute lead through defender Leo Smith. They conceded an equaliser eight minutes from time as Jamie McDonagh levelled for Glentoran.

The New Saints Team News

TNS are expected to be unchanged from the side that travelled to Belfast last week.

Glentoran Form

Glentoran head to Oswestry very much in the tie after Jamie McDonagh earned the Northern Irish Premiership side a 1-1 draw in the first leg.

Mick McDermott's side had to come from behind after conceding early at The Oval in Belfast. McDonagh scored the equaliser nine minutes after coming on from the bench.

Glentoran had earned their spot in the Europa Conference League after finishing third in the Premiership last season, seven points adrift of champions Linfield.

The Glens played two friendlies prior to facing TNS, winning 1-0 against Coleraine and 3-0 against Dundela.

Glentoran Team News

Jamie McDonagh pressed his claims for a start with a goalscoring cameo in the first leg.

Otherwise Mick McDermott is unlikely to make many changes after his side dominated possession and created plenty of chances in the first leg.
